Abstract
Marlin CPUE has been collected from sport fishers in northern New Zealand for 10 years using a billfish logbook. This report details logbook data for 2013–14 to 2015–16. A postal survey of professional skippers on charter boats collected striped marlin CPUE from 1975 to 2006. A negative binomial GLM was used to standardise East Northland charter boat striped marlin CPUE. Annual catch of billfish, yellowfin tuna and pelagic sharks is described from fishing club records.
