This report describes commercial catch and effort, and catch length composition samples, for orange roughy from the north of the North Island of New Zealand to the 2014–15 fishing year. Fishing effort and spatial extent of the fishery had declined. The largest fish were caught offshore. Spawning fish were sampled at numerous locations. An analysis of cumulative catch associated with known features was conducted. Stock structure is discussed.
