Abstract
This work presents the data and results of model-based estimation of New Zealand sea lion captures in the SQU 6T squid fishery. Captures reported by observers in other trawl fisheries during 2004--05 are documented at the end of the report. This report is essentially an update of Smith & Baird (2007), to cover sea lion incidents in New Zealand fisheries in the 2004-05 fishing year.
