Abstract
This report summarises the data inputs for the 2011 stock assessment of blackfoot paua in PAU 7 (upper South Island): (1) standardised CPUE based on FSU/CELR data (2) standardised CPUE based on PCELR data (3) research diver survey index (RDSI) (4) research diver survey proportions-at-lengths (5) commercial catch sampling length frequency (6) tag-recapture length increment data and (7) maturity-at-length data. Catch history encompassed commercial, recreational, customary, and illegal catch.
