Abstract
Baited underwater video surveys within designated management zones of Milford Sound and the Doubtful Sound complex found low numbers of blue cod and tarakihi. The overall conclusion is that blue cod are not abundant at any locations inside Milford Sound or the Doubtful Sound complex regardless of marine reserve or temporary fishing closure designations.
