Abstract
Age data from samples of the commercial catch of orange roughy (Hoplostethus atlanticus) taken on the central Louisville Seamount Chain (east of the New Zealand EEZ) in 1995 and 2013–15 are presented and compared. A maximum age of 230 years was obtained.
