Abstract
Describes stock assessment of lobsters in CRA 3 and management procedure evaluations, using the length-based multi-stock model MSLM fitted to CPUE, size tagging and puerulus data. Puerulus data did not appear informative. The work used McMC simulations. Current biomass is well above Bmsy and Bmin. Management procedures were "plateau step" rules and an industry-suggested rule family, tested with alternative operating models. A technical glossary is provided.
