Abstract
This study compared recreational harvest estimates provided by three independent surveys: an offsite national panel survey, an onsite aerial-access survey, and an onsite bus route/access point survey. Although the spatial extents of these surveys differed, direct comparisons could be made for a range of fisheries. Harvest estimates were of a very similar magnitude, although boosted regression tree modelling highlighted temporal effects which were confirmed by web camera based traffic count data.
